Tortilla Republic, located in the Shops at Kukui’ula in Poipu on the south shore of Kauai, announces the addition of daily breakfast service from 7 to 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests are invited to come in for an “eye opening” cocktail, Mexican breakfast entrée, traditional breakfast dishes or even a customizable flight of bacon!
The breakfast menu features Huevos Divorciados with poached eggs, tomatillo ranchero sauce, bacon, black beans, tortilla strips and queso fresco ($14); Torta de Huevo with a fried egg, brioche bun, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, arugula, aioli and breakfast potatoes ($12); and Chilaquiles with poached eggs, tomatillo sauce, roasted poblano, queso fresco, sour cream and black beans ($12).

Tortilla Republic also offers a few island favorites such as Seared Ahi and Sweet Potato Hash with wilted greens and poached eggs ($15); and Hominy and Cheddar “Hash Browns” with eggs, oyster mushrooms, green onion, and guajillo chili sauce ($12). For those who are looking to start their day off early, a selection of “eye opening” cocktails will be available including the Spicy Bloody Maria with poached shrimp ($9) and Prickly Pear Bellini ($8).
