“I have been working for five months on this project which starts this Sunday,” Franck Desplechin, executive chef of the St. Regis Princeville wrote to me in an email. “Bloody Mary celebrates 80 years. It was created in 1934 in New York and now is a part of the St. Regis brand. There are 31 St. Regises around the world so there will be 31 different Bloody Marys. The St. Regis Monarch Beach decided to do a one night event and we decided to celebrate for one week! I will fly to Honolulu next Tuesday to talk about it on Hawaii News in the morning. A Photo Journey Through Nalu Kai’s Summer Menu
Last week, my post Seaside Tapas Under Kauai Skies introduced you to Nalu Kai’s new summer menu. The other day, my husband Dan and I got to taste it first hand. It was a lovely evening and the view combined with the service of the St. Regis Princeville Resort, made us feel like we were on vacation. Dan snapped some mouth-watering pictures so we could share them with you. Enjoy! Continue Reading →

Menu Changes at St. Regis Princeville
The menus have changed at Makana Terrace, Nalu Kai and Kauai Grill, which are all located in the luxurious St. Regis Princeville. I’m excited to report that Nalu Kai is now offering their tapas menu, which is seasonal. I’ve also written about Makana Terrace and Kauai Grill before. Here are the recent menu changes and upcoming events for the St. Regis Princeville restaurants. If there’s no date, it’s because it’s still in the planning stages and, you know, I’ll share it when you when I get it!
