Breakfast at The Green Pig is an excellent option after a sunrise walk, run, surf or bike ride along Kealia Beach. Located on Kauai’s east side, it’s right across the highway from the ocean. If you’re lucky enough to live here, it’s a quick stop for a grab-and-go breakfast on your way to work. And you can have breakfast for dinner because they serve it all day long. Dan and I sat under an awning at a picnic table holding steamy mugs of bottomless Kauai Coffee ($3), while listening to waves crash as the ocean breeze tickled our skin. Instead of paper plates and plastic forks, our meals were served on ceramic plates with silverware.
