Owners Dan and Ellen O’Connell are a delightful couple whose passion for wine is infectious, their knowledge is vast, and their service is friendly. We may be called The Wine Shop, and we do have an awesome selection of wines, but we are so much more than just a shop that carries wine.
We are bursting at the seams with new inventory. Come see our new collection of girly cocktail accessories and gifts for that hard-to-shop-for gal on your shopping list. We have some beautiful new table top accessories too, like place name holders, silver wine bottle coasters and glasses and serving ware.
Our recent visit to the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco gave us so many more resources for gourmet items, such as Himalayan Salt, grilling and serving platters and even tequila shot glasses made of solid Himalayan salt!
We found a new tasty treat called Woo Hoo, made in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a salty, sweet, slightly spicy, crunchy, nutty snack. And for the chocolate lovers, there is even a version of this snack that is drizzled with chocolate. It is truly addicting!
While we are on the subject of chocolate, please stop by to see our expanded chocolate bar, which now includes a new line of Droga Chocolates, which feature traditional, old-time favorites like peanut butter cups, made in new contemporary fashion with packaging to match.
Our spreads and finishing sauces have also expanded with a selection of mayos, romesco and piri piri sauces from the kitchen of Victoria Amory in Greenwich, Connecticut. We have also added a new line of California olive oils from Bari Olive Oil. These oils are bursting with flavor and freshness, perfect for salads, vegetables and baguettes slices.
Our customer favorite (and the best-selling item in the shop since we opened in 2006) is back in, in a big way – Red Bell Pepper & Ancho Chili Jam. Serve this over goat or cream cheese and watch your guests rave! The easiest and most delicious appetizer you can make in minutes flat! Come in and sample the best salami that you have ever tasted, dry-aged from Italy. Combine a carefully chosen wedge of cheese, some gourmet crackers and your favorite bottle of wine and you have the makings for a fabulous picnic or day at the beach.
You mixologists will be pleased to see our selection of bitters and old-time favorite cocktail ingredients such as Pimm’s, Campari, Lillet, Pernod, Chartreuse and Dubonnet. Need help in re-creating some of those classic cocktails? Our Bartender’s Black Book will tell you all you need to know about outfitting your bar and entertaining guests with your bartending skills.
For the traditionalists out there, we offer a handsome array of bourbon, scotch and rye whiskeys. Not to mention, a rack of bubbly from Spain, Italy, California and France. Add to the mix, our beers from around the world and you will have no doubt that we are more than just a wine shop. Come on in and see for yourself!

The Wine Shop is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. On the first Saturday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m., they host monthly wine tastings.
