The Wine Shop Website Now Features Wine Club, Online Store and More

The Wine Shop, located in the heart of Koloa Town, launched a new website and logo, as well as several new and enhanced programs. The locally owned specialty product store is excited to share their offerings, which include the unveiling of their Wine Club program, online store, as well as a information on how to obtain a Hawaii Marriage License.
The Wine Shop Wine Club program is designed to appeal to residents, part time residents and visitors. There are three levels to the Wine Club that are offered. The first option has a one-time founder’s fee of $300, which secures a lifetime membership. The perks of the membership include 10-percent off all Wine Shop purchases, and 15-percent off featured wines from the monthly wine tasting. The discount is available to the member throughout the entire month. Members also receive access to exclusive Wine Club specials such as holiday gourmet items and beverages, caviar, fish, pates, cheeses and specialty meats. Invites to Wine Club parties, dinners and special events as well as a quarterly newsletters with Dano’s Tasting Notes are offered. Members also receive advance access to new releases, and an invite into an exclusive monthly tasting for members only (as of January 1, 2014). The second tier of membership is $400 and members receive all of the benefits of the standard membership, plus a Wine Shop storage locker that holds 12 bottles of wine. The third level of membership is $500 and includes all of the benefits of the standard membership, plus a Wine Shop storage locker that holds 24 bottles of wine. The storage locker for both the $400 and $500 levels are located in the shop and can be accessed by the Wine Club Member or management. Members can access their locker during business hours.
Another new feature on the website is the online store. Customers can now purchase Gift Baskets, Beverage Program bar set ups and Wine Club Memberships via the website. Gift baskets range from the Makai basket for $35, which consists of Red Wine, White Wine or Champagne and Cheese and Crackers to the $185 Aloha basket including Red Wine, White Wine or Champagne, Cheese Assortment, Cracker Assortment, Tropical Fruit, Chocolates, and Cracker Spreads. Beverage Program options feature several bar sets up including the Martini, Whiskey, Maragarita and Tropical Bar to name a few. Items can be delivered to the Koloa or Poipu area for a $15 delivery charge. Or customers can choose to pick up the items at the store. Delivery prices outside of the Koloa and Poipu area are personally quoted based on location and distance of travel.
The Wine Shop is also an authorized agent for the Hawaii Marriage License process. Couples can simply fill out the online application, schedule an appointment to meet at the shop and bring the balance of the license fee of $5. The Wine Shop will handle the rest.
The O’Connell Family opened The Wine Shop in December of 2006 in the heart of Koloa Town on Kauai. Their vision for the shop was simply to provide an amazing assortment of wines to guests and residents on the Southside of the island. Over the last six years the store has evolved expanding its offerings to include wine, champagne, spirits, beer, gourmet items and gift baskets, and more.
