Every week, the Kauai Beer Company serves their hand crafted beer with food. I usually see chef Joe Fox every Wednesday at the Kapaa farmers market selecting produce for the meal that is only offered during “Finally Friday.” The menu for Friday, August 29 is:
- Farmer’s Market Garden Salad ($8) with wasabi, lemongrass, ginger and herb vinaigrette and candied mac nuts
- Cabbage and Kale Slaw ($5)
- House-made BBQ Potato Chips ($5)
- House-made Pastrami ($7) with thick slices of house-made pastrami, sauerkraut, pickles and mustard
- Coconut Ginger Shrimp Spring Rolls ($8) hoisin sesame scallion sauce
- Kiawe (Mesquite) Crusted Sweet Potato Ravioli ($8) with spicy Thai coconut sauce and fresh spinach
- Poutine ($10) beer battered french fries topped with white cheddar and house-made gravy
- Vegetable “Meatless” Ball Sandwich ($10) with roasted eggplant, carrot, onions, marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese
on a fresh-baked roll served with house-made potato chips or a cabbage-kale slaw
- Beer Brine Jerk Spiced Chicken Sandwich ($11) with torched tomatoes, fresh spinach and a scallion-lime aioli
on a fresh-baked roll served with house-made potato chips or a cabbage-kale slaw
