New Breakfast Offerings on Kauai's North Shore

One of the best restaurants in Kauai is Trucking Delicious. It may sound strange, but we count food trucks as restaurants and include little known places in the “best” category! After all, we’re after really tasty food. Normally Trucking Delicious is located in Hanalei serving gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches as well as house-made soup and fresh made desserts. We are happy to share that Trucking Delicious now offers breakfast every Sunday in Kilauea. Join them from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the yard directly across from Kilauea basketball court and the baseball dugout. The menu below looks tempting, especially the Kalo Moco!
Kalo Moco, $12
An 8-ounce pork, beef and taro patty over rice, smothered in house-made brown gravy and topped with a sunny side up egg ($1 egg add on).
Biscuits and Gravy, $11
Old school brown sausage gravy over fresh-baked buttermilk biscuits. Add meat $2: bacon, Portuguese sausage, ham, pineapple bacon sausage, or turkey.
Nutella Cream Crepes, $9
Nutella Cream folded into two crepes and topped with fresh strawberries and bananas.
Breakfast Sandwich, $10
On your choice of an everything bagel, buttermilk waffle, or toast choice of bacon, ham or sausage, cheddar cheese and scrambled egg.
Lili’s Cristo, $10
Ham, turkey, cheddar and Swiss on sourdough bread dipped in lilikoi French toast batter and served with lilikoi jelly and powdered sugar.
Praline Butter Waffles, $8
Crispy buttermilk Belgian waffles slathered with Laura’s irresistible pecan praline butter
Basic Breakfast, $10
2 eggs any style, your choice of meat, bacon, Portuguese sausage, ham, pineapple bacon sausage, turkey and toast, rice or hash browns.
Papaya Bowl, $7
Half of a fresh papaya piled high with Greek yogurt, bananas, granola and a honey drizzle.
